Erin Wiley is one of the Washington DC area’s leading event management and strategic planning consultants. She has received accolades for her work managing events for the Cherry Blossom Festival including the Cherry Blossom Grand Ball, and for organizing several high-profile Inauguration Galas.
With a focus on multi-day conferences, policy gatherings, and events to support entrepreneurship, her commercial clients have included Facebook, DECA, the Small Business Administration, Georgetown University, and the Women in Tech Summit Series. Beyond event management, Erin assisted her clients to raise over $500,000 in sponsorships.
Before launching Wiley Ideas, Erin was a founding member and Vice President of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) and the Global Entrepreneurship Congress where she successfully managed national and international conferences of up to 4,000 attendees in the United States, China, Brazil, the United Kingdom, UAE, and Russia. Many of these events featured high profile speakers including Sir Richard Branson, former United Kingdom Prime Minster Gordon Brown, Russell Simmons, Snoop Dogg and Mark Cuban.
Erin was also responsible for securing and maintaining over $2 million in sponsorships for GEW events form organizations such as NYSE, Dell, Ernst & Young, IBM and the United States State Department.
On the policy strategy side, Erin has organized conference programming on a range of policy issues including: entrepreneurial growth and economic development; health care and genetics; renewable energy; education; and workforce development.
Erin completed a Masters in Political Management at The George Washington University and is a proud leader of the DC University of Oklahoma Alumni Association, hosting weekly OU football events that regularly attract over 200 supporters. In 2017 Erin was awarded with The University of Oklahoma Regents' Alumni Awards, the highest honor to be given to an OU graduate to recognize their work and dedication to the University.
